The heart of the magic: The patented needle valve

If there is one thing that sets a Slayer Espresso apart from the crowd, it is the patented needle valve. While traditional machines operate at a fixed pressure (typically 9 bar), Slayer introduced the world to Flow Profiling.

Using the needle valve, you can control the water flow rate extremely precisely during pre-infusion. This gives you three unique advantages:

Finer grind size: You can grind your coffee significantly finer without the machine "choking".
No channeling: The gentle saturation ensures that water flows evenly through the entire coffee puck.
Flavor explosion: The result is a viscosity (body) and sweetness that is technically impossible to achieve on other platforms.

Slayer Espresso (Single Group) – The Analog King

This is the machine for the purist. It is the only machine in the series with the physical, manual needle valve, which you control via the iconic wooden actuator.

Workflow: Total manual control. You feel the resistance and control the flow in real time.

Water: Requires a fixed water connection (plumb-in) to feed the professional rotary pump.

Ideal for: The uncompromising home barista or the professional roastery that wants 100% manual control over every profile.

Slayer Espresso

Slayer Steam Single – Precision on demand

Dreaming of Slayer magic but don’t have access to a fixed water connection? Steam Single is the answer. It’s a 100% plug-and-play model with a built-in water tank.

Workflow: Here, the needle valve is replaced by a programmable pre-infusion circuit. You can set the pre-infusion (up to 10 seconds) and use Record & Playback so the machine automatically repeats your perfect shot.

Water: Integrated 2.5L water tank (can also be connected to fixed water supply).

Ideal for: High-end kitchens, coffee carts, or the small café where the workflow needs to be fast and repeatable.
