Find calm in your coffee break with a cup that feels as unique as it looks. This cappuccino cup from the Stanislavs Vilums x BloomVik collection is made for those who appreciate the perfect balance between intense espresso and creamy milk foam. Each piece is a work of "tamed nature," shaped by masterful hands in Latvia.
Through a rare reduction firing in a wood-fired kiln, the cup achieves its distinctive iridescent black-silver finish. It is not a glaze but a transformation of the clay itself, drawing metals to the surface. The result is a lively texture that develops a personal patina the more you use it, making every cup an individual work of art.
"A cappuccino is about harmony. This cup complements the coffee’s richness with its organic weight and thick walls that keep the heat exactly where it should be."
Why this cup will elevate your coffee experience:
The artist behind the fire: Stanislavs Vilums
Stanislavs Vilums (b. 1968) works from his studio, Cukrasāta, in the heart of Latvia. As a trained ceramic artist and master of folk craft, he is one of the few who masters the complex reduction firing. His works are exhibited internationally, but their true soul is found in everyday rituals.
