SKU:RR-RA720BF
No more guessing the color. The RoastRite RA-720BF Big Foot Edition is an advanced coffee roasting analyzer that allows you to quantify your roast profile with 100% accuracy. Using near-infrared technology, it delivers lightning-fast Agtron measurements so you can ensure consistent top quality in every batch – exactly as required by SCA standards.
The "Big Foot" edition is upgraded with a larger sample plate and Area Scan Technology, making it extremely reliable. By scanning a larger surface area, measurement errors caused by small variations in beans or coffee chaff are minimized, so you always get the true picture of your roast.
"From Maillard reaction to finished roasted bean: With the RA-720BF, you get the hard data needed to win competitions and maintain customer trust."
Why choose the RA-720BF Big Foot Edition?
Industry standard in the palm of your hand
Agtron measurements are the common language in the coffee industry. RA-720BF analyzes how the coffee absorbs and reflects near-infrared light. It gives you an accurate number on the roast level, which is far more reliable than visual inspection or traditional cupping alone.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
What is the advantage of the "Big Foot" model? Standard analyzers often measure at a very small point. The Big Foot model uses a larger base (150 mm), which means the average color of your entire sample is measured more accurately. It eliminates "outliers" in your measurements.
Can it measure both whole beans and ground coffee? Yes, and it is recommended to measure both. The difference between the measurement on whole beans and ground coffee (also called "spread") tells you a lot about how evenly the bean is roasted from outer to inner.
How often should it be calibrated? The set includes a calibration disc. We recommend a quick calibration at each start of use to ensure maximum accuracy according to the current lighting environment and temperature.
